Happy scholastic book fair Windsor! This year for the book fair, teachers and students are decorating their doors. We did a Dr. Seuss theme in honor of his birthday on March 2nd. We celebrated by reflecting on our favorite thing about books and made "Thing 1 and Thing 2." :)

In first grade this winter, we've been talking a lot about how every story has a beginning, middle, and end. We made plans for our narrative stories on these snowmen that have three parts. Now we will begin our work on adding details and making our stories super fun to read!!

We got to study President's day on Monday with a substitute while Miss. Kempfert was at a conference learning more about technology and awesome tools for learning. One result of the conference: a new app that let's me post to this blog in no time!!! Enjoy the pics and more frequent updates and many apologies for not posting as much before. :)
